You can see that a site looks dated. What you cannot see is whether it is secure, whether it meets your accessibility duties, whether the backups work, or who actually owns the domain it runs on.
So the honest first step is not a quote. It is finding out. The Health Check is the same review we would do before quoting for a rebuild, written down and handed to you, whether or not you go any further with us.
Five things, checked properly
Every check is done by hand on your actual site, not run through an automated scanner and forwarded to you.
Accessibility
Tested against WCAG 2.2 AA. For any organisation with a public duty this is the finding that matters most, and the one nobody looks at until there is a complaint.
Speed
What your site actually loads like on a normal connection, what is making it slow, and which fixes are worth doing.
Security and updates
Which plugins are out of date, which have known published vulnerabilities, and what is exposed right now.
Hosting and DNS
Where the site is hosted, whether the backups are real, who controls the domain, and what happens if your current supplier disappears.
The three costing you most
Ranked, in plain English, with what each would take to put right.
A written report you can take to a meeting
A PDF, usually five to eight pages, in language a board or committee can read without a technical translator. Findings ranked by what they cost you, each with what it would take to fix and roughly what that costs.
It is yours. If you take it to another supplier and have them do the work, that is a perfectly good outcome for £350.
Turnaround is five working days from the point we have access.
Credited in full. If you go ahead with a build or a migration with us within 90 days, the £350 comes off the price.
